About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Taxation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services. As an Associate Taxation, you will be responsible for managing tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing strategic tax advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct thorough tax research and provide interpretations of tax laws and regulations.
Assist clients in tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
Represent clients in tax audits and communicate with tax authorities as necessary.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in taxation, with a focus on tax planning, compliance, and advisory.
CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
