About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Associate in Financial/Debt Risk Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and debt-related risks. As an Associate in Financial/Debt Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies to manage potential risks and ensuring the financial stability of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and monitor financial and debt-related risks affecting the company or clients.
Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and create detailed reports on findings.
Monitor financial markets and trends to anticipate potential risks.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management is integrated into overall business strategy.
Provide training and support to staff on risk management practices and policies.
Prepare risk management documentation and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) is highly preferred (but not necessary)
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in managing debt-related risks.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial or debt risk management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
